From left to right Julie, Nigel, Clive, Sarah, Tamsin and Lesley.

Clive and Julie are both Care Ambassadors

Clive says ‘As a person requiring full time care I am able to recognise the essential qualities of carers, support, and medical staff. I would like to encourage people to go into care as a career choice, rather than recruit people who do not have the qualities and commitment required.'

As a wheel chair user he is determined to get the message across that this does not stop him from leading an active social life. He has travelled through Europe, America and Africa and he has been canoeing and on the top of a mountain. He is currently looking for a suitable ski/sleigh adaptation for his wheelchair so that he can visit the somewhere cold this winter.

He employs Julie as his full time carer. She says ‘I have a wonderful, varied and challenging job. Few jobs could give anybody the job satisfaction that I get on a daily/weekly/ yearly basis
